My Perfume Collection || 2016

Tuesday 8 March 2016

Hello my beauties! Hope all is well with you guys. Welcome to my Perfume Collection post.

Recently I had a spontaneous perfume obsession; if it can even be called it that. I went on a splurge on so many perfumes that I had been wanting to get for ages. With now a substantial amount in my collection, I thought I'd tell you guys all about it and who knows maybe you'll find your favourite fragrances among them too. So without holding you back much longer let's get into it.

Starting with my Dolce & Gabbana perfumes. I have the L'IMPERATRICE 3 by Dolce & Gabbana which was actually given to me by a friend that got tired of the smell before the bottle ended. I can't emphasize how sweet this scent is. It is the kind of scent you try to follow when you get a whiff of it. Honestly, such an amazing fragrance for the summer time.

Secondly, I recently purchased the Dolce by Dolce & Gabbana. Why? Well, maybe it was because everybody was raving about it and I was so anxious to try it out. So I just bought it and I am telling you now, I am so glad that I did! Yet again another sweet scent and it doesn't feel too heavy, in other words, not so intoxicating. I can't wait to walk the streets in the spring time with this scent beaming off of me.

I seem to have two different perfumes from the same brand in my collection, how odd. Anyways, the next perfume in my collection is the Infusion de Tubereuse by Prada, which was given to me by my mother for my 20th birthday and I had never been happier as I had just finished the perfume below. It's got such a wonderful smell and like the Dolce, it is light and perfect to have a little sprit of in the summer. It seems to be a perfume really hard to find in stores at the moment, which I found weird when trying to search for it, but you can still buy a bottle on amazon.

Moving onto the Infusion D'Iris by Prada. As you can see the bottle is empty. It was and still is one of my favourite fragrances ever, so I need to make sure to restock on this one again. The scent is a little stronger than the others but none the less still my favourite. It was given to me by my boyfriends mother two Christmas's ago and within 9 months I had finished it. I think it's a perfect fragrance to wear in the winter and at the start of spring as it doesn't suffocate you so much. Plus it's a bonus when you try to protect your cheeks from the cold by snuggling your face into your scarf and all you can smell is this! No wonder it finished so quickly!

Next we have the Ma Vie by Hugo Boss. I actually bought the cream set with this perfume and I love it for going out on a date or when going out to an event. I can't actually say that I would pick this perfume up just for a daily sprit. However, it smells gorgeous and sweet. One of those, you'd have to take it upon yourself to go and find out if you like the smell or not.

Like I said, these brands come in pairs! Here we have the Nuit By Hugo Boss which I find to be such a mature fragrance. Again, this is a perfume I would wear to a formal event and not daily. Or maybe I could make an exception in the winter, as I feel like because it is a strong scent it would be nice to have a whiff of it on your scarf as well. So I would either wear this in the winter or to a special event.

This is my little sample of Modern Muse by Estee Lauder (I have linked the 50ml bottle). I carry this little beauty around in my bag for emergencies and feel like I can just throw it on whenever. It's a scent that fits in with every season I believe and it is so light and sweet. Definitely handy to just always have on you.

Here we have my Jean Paul Gaultier Classique by Jean Paul Gaultier which I have raved about in my January Favourites post. It's perfect for everyday wear, and it is also a light fragrance. However, I'd say I'd wear this mostly in the winter and early spring. Definitely great having this one at arms reach.

Lastly, but still one of my all-time favourites, Nina by Nina Ricci. I had been wanting this perfume for so long now but was always on the verge of buying it as I often asked myself, "Ana do you really need another perfume right now?" My answer was always no, until one day I just bought it as I was scared I'd fall out of love with the scent but that is highly unlikely. I haven't used it so much because I am saving it for the summer as I think it would be such a lovely smell to having flowing from you into the soft breeze of a warm day. So for any sweet smell lovers, this is one you need to get your hands on.

That's all there is to my perfume collection. Small but well put together I believe. Leave down in the comments below what's your favourite perfume or what's sitting in your perfume collection.

Lots of Love, A .x
