I am going to put it out there now, that this post is not sponsored by Maybelline. I just really love their products and especially these lipsticks. They are amazing on the lips. Without further ado, let's get into it!
There is nothing I love more than lipsticks and just lip products in general, I have a drawer full and never seem to use any rather than the ones I love. Therefore, I wanted to share with you guys my Maybelline lip collection which just consists of my favorite ones from the range so far. As you can see from the picture above, there are a lot of nudes in there, and yes I am very obsessed with nude shades, I have mentioned this before in my Get To Know Me post, which I have left linked in the name if you want to check it out. I also just want to add that each lipstick is super inexpensive at only £6.99. Therefore I believe it is a very good price for the quality that you are getting!
I am going to start from left to right with all the names and links of these wonderful shades.
Firstly, is the shade 930 Nude Embrace which is most probably me favourite out of the five that I own. It's a matte shade that sits wonderfully on the lips. It doesn't make the lips feel dry as some matte lipsticks too, so it's just perfect! I love it very much and will probably have to go back and purchase a second one just to have in my handbag with me all the time.
Secondly, you have the shade 757 Naked Brown which is a really dark shade. I feel like I can't pull it off 100% percent but I guess you need the right makeup look to pull that sort of colour off anyways, so I'm working on that one.
Thirdly, is the 725 Tantalizing Taupe which is more of a nude with a hint of pink. I think this colour works really well with a very simplistic spring makeup look and isn't such a daunting nude or blushy pink. It is definitely a product I look forwards to using a lot more in the spring time.
Fourthly, the 740 Coffee Craze which I think is to-die-for! It is such a nice subtle colour. Perfect for everyday wear, just as nude embrace as well, or an evening out. It's perfect for everything, in my opinion. Therefore, I would be racing to tell you to go and pick one up at your local drugstore!
Lastly, but nonetheless, one of my top five's is the 630 Velvet Beige. This shade does not only add a touch to your makeup look but I feel it also boosts my confidence when walking around with it. It's a shade in between a nude and a dark brown, creating a perfect in between colour and that is what I love about it so much! Once again perfect for everyday wear or a smart casual look!
